The prick from the needle in Cheryl Bray's left arm on Thursday, Dec. 24, at Citrus Memorial Hospital symbolized more than the COVID-19 vaccine that was injected into the nurse.

For the hospital's clinical coordinator for CMH's ER, it represented having to worry a lot less when she came to work to treat patients infected with the virus and potentially being exposed herself.
